In addition I now resist any upgrading of stuff for ugradings sense. I keep stuff until it is no longer functional. The amount of electronic waste must be sickening.

Old broken or obsolete electrics should go back to point of origin for recycling,same as plastic waste or other hard to dispose of consumables.We will probably have to take some stuff back, but it may make manufacturers more alert to the issue.

But with all that spare oil sloshing around, petrol and diesel are getting much cheaper. So we can afford to use more of it.
