So, called to a unit,3 phase, being split into 2 units, both require 3 phase supply, so 2nd unit requires new supply.

So gents down to you..........

What price have YEDL given the Unit(s) owner?????

By the way, surveyed it for him, needs 2 new disboards and assoc. bits and pieces, most the circuits running in trunking using the trunking as the earth!!

He "doesn't want it re-wiring" so me and a mate are carrying out PIR on it just to demonstrate he will need to!!!

Oh, and, the back wall and floor of the building is 'moving' quite dramatically following the recent earth quake!!!!!

No not quite!!!!!

Downhill is very nice, so is Derry!!!! Still they could at least provide him with Solar panels, he'd get at least half a day ayears leccy out there :(

Poor bugger

Well estimated load was the stumbling block, it is relatively unknown, there are only 2 3 phase motors in the place, thou previously had been alot of industrial gear, ovens etc. Fella wants to keep his options open for renting so we told YEDL 57KVa

So back to price!!!!!

Way off the mark here guys, remember the property already has 1 3phase supply to it, even YEDL aren't that bad (errr I really shouldn't be saying that!!)

To help you out it is way cheaper than myself, my colleague and the owner thought it would be!!!

if there's spare capacity on the existing cable, then probably £3000-5000.. just a joint and a few meters of cable and the necesary head/meters

Back of the room Pope!!!!

Getting closer!!!

However this could go on all weekend!!!

So the cost of 3 phase to other unit £500!!!!!!! inc. VAT!!!!!!!!

Had to sit down when I read it!!!

Who is excavating?

Did you agree to any contestible work?

Does this include the metering? Mamy DNO's do not price this, and many suppliers do charge.
