Isn't K55 RJF yours, then?

edited: no, of course, it's Robs

So far, I have discovered that my first car has had its colour changed to purple (an Alfasud?????) and my second, a beetle, its license is not due, which presumably means it is still OTR.

I am guessing unlicensed means either the car has been sorned or it is scrapped.

This is fascinating stuff! I'm going to work my way through all my cars to see if they're still around!

Sad git!!

EDIT:

Well, there are two cars I cannot remember the registrations for, but of all those I can, only two are currently licensed: a 1975 Beetle & a 1996 Xantia.... And more surprisingly, a 1974 Maxi of my Dad's (long ago sold) is still listed as licensed. Poo beige, too!!

hasn't been taxed since Sept 2002. Either it's being run by a chav, or scrapped.

I guess it will show this if the veichle is tax exempt on the grounds of age >25 years?

It could be SORNed and parked up somewhere

My tax-exempt and SORN classic bike says

Date of Liability 01 03 2007

Year of Manufacture Not Available
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 250CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status SORN Not Due
Vehicle Colour WHITE
Vehicle Type Approval

"Date of Liability" is the date the SORN (or tax) expires (or expired)

The tax-exempt bike has nothing in the "current tax rates" section.

Crafty, why is your diesel Fiesta so cheap to tax for 6 months?

Manufacturer FORD
Model FIESTA LX TDCI
Body type 5 DOOR HATCHBACK
Colour SILVER
Fuel type HEAVY OIL
Date manufactured 14 October 2003

Hows that work Crafty?

I'm not jealous. I can afford my tax

(It's still cheaper than my 1.8 petrol was)

No idea. Maybe someone did their sums wrong or something. Im not complaining! Actually there is no option on the tax renewal for 6 months - it just gives the 12 month "option" theres no choice in the matter. I guess they thought £25 for 6 months would just be pointless

3 previous owners in less than 3 years?? (I bought it Nov 05)
