"The firm also has manufacturing facilities in Malaysia and the Philippines. It does not make any of its products in the UK.

The firm’s billionaire founder previously told the Guardian that leaving the EU could “
supercharge British technology and refocus minds on global trade”. He has also said that Brexit could create more jobs in the UK."

Actions, words.

I wonder how many £millions Rice-Pudd will make for himself.

Funnily enough the EU and Singapore signed a free trade agreement only last friday, so Dyson is but the first of many...

I wonder what trade deal the UK has with Singapore?

Quitters of course will simply stick their fingers in their ears and chant 'la-la-la' as usual !

"In an extraordinarily mistimed move the strongly pro-Brexit billionaire Sir James Dyson has made a demand that the UK join the world's tax havens in abolishing the requirement that private companies (like his) must place their accounts on public record. Little could better indicate the planned tax haven, race to the regulatory bottom, trajectory of those supporting Brexit than such a demand.

James Dyson has slammed UK rules that force privately owned companies to file accounts that can be viewed by the public, describing them as “anti-competitive” and handing an advantage to overseas rivals.

It's true that the US does not require this. Nor do many tax havens. But the EU does, of course"

No different of course from all the other 'rich and powerful' figures who managed to so easily con the gullible quitters!

So he can build car parts ship them to the EU tariff free and assemble.

This agreement was started in 2010 and agreed in 2014 and is being ratified now. This only covers a select number of industries.

Reality vs Brexit fantasy

I always got the impression Brexiteers were a pragmatic bunch. BREXIT is like ripping out a working boiler that albeit does need a service to replace with a pot of boiling water over a wood fire.
