I would have thought that SL stands for switched live & SN stands for swiched neutral & means that they are the common, which possibly goes live when the timer is activated & normally open terminals, not 100% certain, but you should be able to prove it with a multimeter.
Not sure where you got that from.
6 is live supply to clock
5 is neutral supply to clock
123 are the switch
2 is the input( you may link this to 6)
3 is N/o contact ( usually your live switched output to your load)
1 is N/c contact ( not usually used)
