Hallway extension to garage possible?

Just wondered what type of cost id be looking at to make a basic hallway from the house side door to the detached garage? Its about 4m in length and would want about 1.5 metres wide. So it runs along side of house then and wouldnt need to knock anything down.

Im thinking of buying a house which doesnt have an attached garage and we will be converting it into a room so dont want to have to go outside. You can see from pic what i mean.

Bizarre idea. I doubt any planner would approve it.

i maybe mis explained - its the side door of the house to the garage side door (not main doors). Its just to save having to walk outside to the garage conversion room

You mean you would like to create an annex to the garage? About £8k for a budget version.
