Hi there, I was installing a triple pack of halogen downlighters. I drilled the holes in the ceiling, fitted the light fittings into holes and climbed into the loft to feed the wire thru the fitting to take the bulb. My problem occurs at this point. The length of wire supplied in the pack isn't long enough to stretch in between each of the light fittings. Can I simply cut/lengthen the wires or can I get a new, longer, length of wire loom? Thanks for your help in advance. Gary

Are they all 3 running off 1 transfomer? What is the VA (or watts) rating of it and each of your bulbs?

It's more usual to have 1 50 or 60W transformer per light fitting and then run 1.0mm or 1.5 mm twin and earth cable between the fittings, using ajunction box to connect transformer input then an enclosed connection to connect lamp holder to transformer output.
