Perhaps, but ultimately far better to just buy a new LED light.
Well as long are you are sure it will last, once you have gone to the effort of drilling the wall and wiring it.

My wife got a R7 flood light from Aldi, bulb lasted a couple of days, so I got a LED replacement, this ran for around 4 months when the PIR fitted with water, a small hole in PIR allowed it to drain, and still working when we left the house.
Fitted a LED lamp to mothers house, it simply worked.
