HANDRAIL BRACKET WOODEN WALL BLOCK

Hey All
Recently took Handrail Off Stairs to plaster & Decorate dont want to put brackets directly onto plaster, as before They dug in and Damaged The Plaster, and I have seen somewhere Hand rails with the brackets, on Round wooden blocks, But I can't seem to find any where to buy them probly because not sure what they are called, Any help would be most Grateful

get yourself a length of 4x1" planed the
same length as the handrail angle/curve the ends router a molding around the edge screw to wall and screw the handrail to this
