Hang a pendant light below a velux window?

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a neat way to hang a pendant light below a velux window in a pitched roof?

We have a velux directly over the center of a dining table, and would quite like a light to hang down at this point.

I was thinking perhaps a discreet white steel bar spanning the opening and hanging from that, but don't know if it would look carp.
