Hanging and hinges for wardrobe doors

Yeah does look a bit rubbish now after a the paint it has on it after moving it. Going to take awhile to sand and paint . Might just buy some new wood
Your new plane will strip paint in one pass, watch your fingers.

I hang the the door then plane the leading edge on the lock side if it needed , the ammount to come off can be more accurately accessed this way.
When I did my first house in the 70’s all the sapele flush door came pre finished shrunk wraped with leads so linning had to go in pretty accurate.
If u plane with the door in situ how do you get electric planer into the top and bottom corners?

I dont plane in situ, I hang door to measure how much to take off
