I've come to install the shower enclosure and realised that one walls is a stud wall, but the studs are not in the right place to be able to secure the frame to.

I'm thinking of removing some sections of the wall and fitting some noggins in to provide support, then patching it back up.

Any other suggestions? See pic attached. The other wall is fine as it's solid brick behind.

If you had ever had to remove a existing shower enclosure you wouldn't be asking the question!
The profile needs to be silicone sealed behind once that's set it ain't going no where,.
Just drill holes for red plugs to locate it while sealant sets.
