I think it would be difficult to get a prosecution against an individual defending themselves (without using a weapon of any kind) from 4 attackers

I don't know about kick-boxing, but people with a license to train in a recognised martial art are taught to exercise control and restraint, not to break someone's jaw.

It's therefore unreasonable to do more than incapacitate an attacker, which can be very easily and without much damage when you know how.

Bottom line is though ... The 4 lowlives deserved everything they got and perhaps they'll think twice now before having another go

That isn't the bottom line - the bottom line is that everyone deserves the protection of the law, including the toe-rag that Tony Martin shot dead.

Ok..someone comes up to you on the street and sticks one on you in a happy slappy 'stylieeee'...

They walk away laughing...apart from a citizens arrest (not a good idea unless getting a thoroughly good kicking is your idea if a turn on!!) what do you do?

Go up and clump them?...seems fair but retailiate and youl get in more trouble than the vermin who clumped you 'for a laugh'

Eye for an eye?..not in the eyes of the law (that could be a decent lyric!!)

Use 'reasonable force' to stop them doing it to you again?...what is 'reasonable force'?...pulled them to the floor and hold them (leaving you nicely set up for a kick in the head from their mates) or dropping them with one on the chin and running for it?

These vermin do it because they simply know they can get away with it because everyone is scared to do anything

I once stepped into a fight to stop 3 drunken vermin beating up an innocent fella who no doubt proked them by walking along with his wife and handing hands (asking for it really wasnt he!!)

Guess who spent three hours being held by the police!!???..the couple walked off and they had me down as attacking the 3 drunks for no reason..on my own.

Don't let your experience deter you from doing the right thing (which you did IMO).

So many people just turn a blind eye and walk on by.

Best bit of advice me old fella told me was ... If you know you're going to get a pasting from a group of towrags get yours in first and go for the biggest and ugliest of the bunch right where it hurts.

It's done me proud over the years ... Mind you, I've had a fair few kickings along the way

megawatt ,please keep up you should read all the post,then you will see were a different of opinion comes into play ,i want to hurt all slim bags who do bad things and think the law wont let me, and others think the laws fine the way it is ,ithink the law gets interpeted in the bad guys favor others dont, i think that our british goverment get the pi#s taken out of it in the european courts,some dont, i would like to see most laws reviwed say every 10 years or so to make sure they are fit for purpose some dont, what do you think , love to hear from you and others,
bui say just because something is law dose not make it right or proper you see it every day in th news you try to stop someone doing wrong and you end up helping the police with there enquires for a few hours under caution. what can we do please help

Oh my god,is that you?, brilliant,you're doing a great job scamming the scammers and some of it is side splitting stuff Some of them have kept me entertained for hours,where do you find the time to do it?
Getting those guys to re-enact the parrot sketch from monty python was hilarious keep up the good work .

seen one about a year ago where a happy slapper waiting at a train station and said to his mate filming it" the next guy to come out of the station is getting it" anyhow this guy walks out (looks as though just come off a building site) and the happy slapper walks over to him and gives him a really hard slap across the face...............................................the slapper turns to the camera to gloat when the victim given him a right hander tyson would have been proud of and decks this guy and mumbles something.........you can then hear the guy filming saying OH GOSH or words to that effect while trying to shove the phone in his pocket during a hasty get away
this is one happy slap film I could watch all day
