Hi,
I try to keep tubes of silicon etc for later jobs, but it goes hard in the end of the tube.
I usually get a new nozzle or clean the old one, which is easy, but trying to pull out the solid silicone in the tube end doesn't work most times.

I found a handy tip for this. Get some hard tubing, I used the John Guest 8mm tube which is 10mm outside, and just fits.
Push it through the hard bit, and cut it off so it still fits in the nozzle when replaced, and it works.

I don't always want to go and get another tube, for what may be a quick job, and it may be adhesive or silicon.

I'm not talking about the nozzles, but just inside the tube, where it gets hard.
