Hi
Could someone tell me roughly how much can i expect to pay for someone to hardwire my oven?

my oven died gonna buy a new one so just need it to be hardwired

the old one is hardwired so its just a case of someone removing the existing connection and hardwiring the new one

how much should i expect to pay?

Website like comet / currys where im gonna but it from charge around £85 per installation

is this reasonable?

If they test it all properly afterwards then it seems ok, do they provide an installation certicate?

I would do it for that amount - perhaps a bit less if really straightforward.

That would also include proper testing of the circuit - something which, I doubt, Curry's will do.
In fact, if everything doesn't LOOK like they are used to they will likely leave it unconnected.

I will apologise and be very surprised if they do test.

For a straight forward install, test and cert, written on the spot £60.00 if within a 5 miles radius. I advertise this regularly and do loads.
