Have the Zones moved, today!....? NICEIC man says they have!

Zone 0 has changed a little in the 17th but not in a way that would make it extend above a bath.

Zone 0 is IN the bath and it does not extend above the height of the bath.

Zone 1 extends above the bath 2.25mtrs as per RF's post Above 2.25mtrs is outside of zones.

Zone 0 has changed to include wet room type showers but it still only extends 100mm from the floor/shower tray.

In plan, zone 1 only extends out the width of the bath/shower unless it's a wet room and then zones 0 & 1 are combined and extend 1200mm from the waste outlet

So if the bath is 500mm wide, zone 1 is 500mm wide and then it become zone 2 for 600mm.

Basins are not zoned, only baths and showers.

Zone 1 can extend above 2.25m if the shower head is higher than that. Perhaps applicable to chaps such as Christpher Greener.

Ceiling mounted jets/rain outlets are becoming very popular in wet rooms so as you say, in that instance zone 1 would extend to the ceiling.

Zone 0 (for a bath) is the same as the 16th - In the bath, not upwards or outwards but IN the bath.
It's also the same for a shower with a basin.

For a shower without a basin zone 0 used to be a radius of 0.6M from centre point of fixed water outlet, under the 17th it now extends to a radius of 1.2M.
The height from the floor has also changed, Zone 0 used to the up to 50mm from the floor level, it's now 100mm from the floor level.
