Hello,

We are just about to commit to having the above boiler fitted but before doing so I believe there is an installation certificate needed for our warranty - am I correct before I go and ask the installer this question?

Thanks,

Mike.

I think you are thinking of the gas work notification (GWN) that will be done after the boiler has been installed.

This means that the gas installion will be notified to CORGI and a certificate issued to you, from them.

You then keep this as part of the documents required if and when you sell your property.

Not all installers do this, so you will be well advised to ask before committing yourself to this installer.

All other standard paperwork and benchmark completion still has to be carried out.

so ask the intaller

if the jobs right he will inform the the dog

you do however need the BENCHMARK filled in if thats what you are asking
