Having problems with android apps?

If your email and other apps are throwing up stopped working messages, you need to go to play store and update Google chrome. Someone broke something!

It's a problem with Android System Webview, which many apps use. Even if Webview is disabled, the apps still don't work.

Don't bother clearing data or cache or resetting stuff as its a waste of time. Google are working on an update.

Removing the latest webview updates sorted it for me.
And updating chrome.

my son has been moaning about his phone not working, this might be it! Thanks. I thought it was likely a hardware failure.
