Photo attached. It doesn't have lugs or holes to fix it, but 2-sided tape might do it. I keep an old computer as I can't get some programs to run on W10, and it's handy to sit the hub on, I can reach down to it easily. If I didn't have the old computer at a pinch I could sit the hub on the new one.
You can't escape having a few cables, that's the point of the hub! Depending on your setup perhaps you can put the hub on your desk and run the cables up behind, that's what I do with leads to my mouse, keyboard and VDU.
