Heat alarms

Hello.

I have a heat alarm that does not expire until Dec 2031. It started beeping, red light flashes every minute.
I tested the alarm and it works and then the beeping stopped ....but the red light still flashes every minute.

I think it's supposed to, means it is working ok.

As Denso says it is indicating that the device is powered. The battery shoulld last 10 years.
From the instalation insructions
"Your Alarm is a life saving device and should be checked periodically. Regularly
check that the red light on the Alarm flashes approx once a minute to show the units
are powered. Replace the Alarm if the flashing stops"

These promised lifespans can be optimistic.

The battery is non-replaceable.

Yes I think you may have some luck with ei/aico on this

They seem very reputable
