can anybody tell me why i am getting a drip of water coming from the area of the condensate trap i am at a loss on how to stop it

This is a new model so call back the CORGI registered installer!

i have asked someone to call but due to the bad weather no one is available in my area

It's a design characteristic of a sh1t, cheap and nasty boiler. You should've spent more and bought a decent one!

thanks for the smart remarks it dosnt help though if you cant be constructive why bother to comment :? :? :? :?

Just ignore dangermouse46, he has a pathological hatred of british gas, bigburner and heat-line. The irony is that the company he works for owns heat-line. God help him if a heat-line boiler was installed by british gas in bigburners house and he was sent to do a warranty job on it.

The drip may be from a loose condensation pipe inside or the condensation drain may not be running properly. Your best bet is to probably get in contact with your installer followed by contacting heat-line so they can send out a warranty engineer.

Thats not a problem!

He does not have to repair a boiler if the owner is being abusive!

So he could ligitimately walk out and BigBullShit would have to get someone ( he is not CORGI himself ) to remove the Heatline and fit a Broag!

Thanks for the good advice i will do what you have suggested, while waiting for someone to call i will put a dish under the boiler to catch the water. What does anybody have to gain from just being sarcastic i don't know
