Hi just finished tilling my bathroom with porcalain tiles wall and floor, but now i need to drill some 6mm diameter holes in the wall tiles to hang a cupboard. I used diamond hole cutters on the floor tiles for water and waste pipes but theses were a large diameter.

Can anyone advise how i drill 6mm dia holes as the smallest hole cutter i found was a 10mm dia or do i need to go to a proper tile shop instead of my local diy shed.

Any help of where to go would be great

Thanks

Ha - excellent.

Here's me (a fine limits engineer) machining a piece of brass down to 6mm and drilling the centre to form a tube, then putting into my piller drill & applying car valve grinding paste and grinding the 6mm hole for the wall plug in the tile.

That new fangled tool would have saved me about 2 hours per hole :(
