Hi thought we'd decorate the downstairs toilet and the previous owner had music note pages all stuck on one wall which initially looked nice & unique.

After steaming off the pages and removing a mirror he'd put up using no nails and screws the wall's not looking too good.

Where do i start???

I've got a box of Toupret

Sand Most of the wall down ?

Just keep applying coats and build them up? You can see in the first picture that the paints just peeling back off.

Is there a thicker undercoat i can buy?

Or would i need this?

bettz1, good evening.

Can I suggest sanding with a "Pole Sander" using various grades of paper?

Also suggest you consider using a very heavy grade of lining paper, easier than an attempted skim??

Ken.
