I am taking up the carpet on my stairs, under which is lino glued onto wood on top of the Lino are wooden strips of carpet grips nailed down- how do I get them up?? At the moment I am getting a knife under and forcing it up but it’s taking 15 mins per strip and I have cut myself twice. Any ideas ?!! Thanks !

Hammer and wide-ish chisel (38mm or thereabouts) would be one way, hammer and cat's paw prybar is another
