Hello,

I currently have my kitchen freezer connected under the worktop on an unswitched socket and above the worktop, I have a switched fused connection unit.
I now want to add in the same wall box a lighting switch and use modular switches with a double gang face plate.
I found modular switch for Freezer, and modular lighting switch, but I would loose the fuse. (The freezer plug is fused however)

Can I basically do this?
- have cables from main ring and lighting circuit in the same box?
- delete the fuse and just have the switch for the freezer.?

Thank you very much for your help.

Remember to 'fuse down' the new lighting circuit with the appropriate fuse when installing it so that you don't have a 30A supply straight to your new lights.

Just to clarify, the light switch will be on a standard lighting circuit, so I guess that I don't need to fuse it down since it will be on a B6 MCB.

Thanks
