Help wiring 2 decorative light fittings

Hi

I'm trying to help a friend who tried fitting 2 decorative light fittings. One works and the other doesn't and she didn't make a note of how the previous lights were wired.

They are both wired to one switch. Can anyone spot anything obvious in the pictures below that would make one of them not work?

I've fitted a few lights in my time but always take a photo of how they are cables before I removed the old ones.

Any help would be appreciated.

In the first picture, where does that other brown wire(top left) go that vanishes behind the green-yellow sleeve?

Good shout. I didn't even spot that....I'm going to blame it on being late...I'll ask her at work tomorrow but I'm assuming that will fix it.

It’s probably the live out to the other fitting .
