HepV0 Valve

I am thinking of using a hepv0 valve on my basin.

Having never used one before I was wondering what comments/opinions you guys had on these?

I want to use these too, but where can you buy them? Builders Merchants don't seem to stock them & the only place I can find online is PlumbWorld, £20 once you add the postage!!!
