Hi, I have a HIB Cyclone Inline extractor that was fit in my bathroom just over a year ago.
Over the weekend I went in the attic to get suitcases out and noticed the flexible outlet pipe had come off the extractor outlet connection point. I put it back on and tightened up the clamp.
Today I noticed the extractor fan isn't working.
Tonight I checked the electrical connections (I am not an electrician, but I am competent enough to use a multimeter).
There are 3 connections
Blue to N
Red to L
Yellow to LT
Between N & L I get 235v
Between N & LT I get 26.3v
Between L & LT I get 208.2v
Repeat of N & L I get 232.8v
What else do I need to check to identify if it is the motor or the capacitor.
I am also wondering if there is a blockage somewhere in the flexi outlet pipe as it must have come off for some reason (clamp was slightly more then hand tight on the housing outlet).
If this is the case would it have burnt out the motor or capacitor?
Any help appreciated
