Hi

i have a couple of very long overgrowing branches to cut down, maybe 20ft or so up ~ does anyone have thoughts/advice between using a rope saw or an extendable pruning saw thing? I don't want to get a chainsaw on a pole, ones on amazon only seem to have a 6' pole and besides i think this will be a one-and-done exercise so i don't want the expense for something i probably won't need again.
i've got extendable ladders that i *think* might reach the branches, to get up and use my bow saw, bit it might be a bit iffy.

TIA

To use an extendable pruner of that length you will need to muscles like A Schwarzaniger used to have I have one that is about 5 metres and getting the blades into position is a nightmare especially if you have a few to do. I think a ladder and bow saw is your best bet.
