Hi guys, I have the hitachi drill above, I am trying to find the right settings for the hammer action. Should it be on low or high ? This drill has 22 setings.

At the end of the torque settings, isn't there a hammer symbol?

Thanks John, Yes there is a hammer symbol, I wasn't sure if it had to be on setting 1 or 22.
I take it the 22 is the fastest of the settings.

On my own Hitachi the hammer action overrides the torque settings, and as the drill doesn't spin very fast anyway, I let it spin as fast as it can - hence I slide the top button to High.

On checking my drill you are right John. Once it is set to hammer you cant change the settings just the high and low switch.
