Hi

I currently have a ideal logic independent c35 boiler which has no thermostat connected. I have purchased the Hive 2 and i am looking to install this and would like to confirm the cabling will be correct. The Ideal wiring is like below but there is just a jump loop for the Room Stat and nothing for the Frost Stat. I assume I connect the Live Neutral and Earth to the Hive diagram below and the The room Stat to 1 and 3 on the hive back box?

Thanks in advance for advice and help.

Reported to mods for unsafe gas work again!!
You removed the combustion cover so 26/9 safety checks MUST be carried out.

Shambolic.
I’m a retired Bosch engineer with 25 years working on all their domestic appliances including gas ovens and hobs. At the time I was Corgi registered.
Not sure what you are referring to, it was an electrical thermostat change

This involves opening a sealed chamber which is used for combustion air. Therefore this comes under "gas work".
Plaease see "DIY Gas"
