Hive on Worcester green star 30si

Hi all

I’ve got a receiver fitted on to a the boiler and purchased a hive 2 thermostat and hub 360.

The thermostat won’t connect to the receiver even when I reset the receiver so it is flashing Amber.

Called hive and they said maybe a compatibility issue with the boiler.

Has anyone got a green star 30si with hive and is it working?

Any suggestions about what I can do?

Sounds like a communication error somewhere. As far as the Hive is concerned it just operates an 'on' and 'off' switch contained inside the receiver, The Hive receiver won't have any idea of what boiler is connected to the other end of the aforesaid switch. I've had one working on a bench without any boiler connected to it whatsoever.

Hive has been fitted to many Greenstar 30si's and no one else has reported a similar issue. See here and here for a couple of examples.
