hob question

i've got a new hoob that needs to be put into my kitchen and its the first time we've got one that is electroic ignition rather than just a battery.

the instructino manual only mentions 'connect to the mains by way of an FCU'.

i have one of the for the new single oven, can it be wired in with the single oven or does it need to be on its own FCU or can it just be a plug with a 13a fuse in (fuse size is just a guess as it isn't specified, guess i may need to ring manufacturer).

I am assuming you mean a gas hob, electric ignition. If so plug it in to 13amp socket, probably fused to 3/5amp
