Hi guys, We had our henry hoover plugged in to a double socket in the wall, One if the children ran into the cable and has nearly pulled the double socket out of the wall and all the plastering around it has come away.
Any ideas which is the best way to go about repairing this.

Thanks all.

Turn the power off - then wang a load of powder filler ( pollyfilla) all around and into the box - you only need a gap where the box screws go - let dry / harden then sand it smooth to the wall face . Power back on after you`ve filled , but keep the socket hanging out of the wall away from little fingers  Probably contravenes a thousand H+Safety issues having the socket hanging but live - so if you can isolate that one @ the consumer unit without shutting off important ones on the same circuit .....................Ask in the Electrics forum ;)
