Hello,
I've been trying to set up my touch center so that it can control the driveway gate for the younger members of our family without phones.

At the moment I'm trying a DCM, I wanted to set up two O/P entries, one for a timed open, say for 2 minutes to allow egress, and one to hold it open when visitors were expected etc.

I'm using O/Ps from an internal RIO, 1011 and 1012 simply so that they are at the top of the list on the touch center, using links to signal the DCM. The hold open function works as intended, holding the gate open via the relay on the DCM but the link for pulse mode just doesn't seem to work although the only differences in the settings are reflex/pulse. It seems that when you set the touch center to 'trigger' mode it fails to send the signal, setting it to 'toggle' means it will hold the gate (DCM relay) open despite the link mode being set to 'pulse'

I can try getting a RIO and using the O/Ps from that but concerned that I will encounter the same issue.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Gordon.

Sorry, I've not been on the forum much lately. The output control isn't specific to the Touch Center, it's a panel capability. Do you have an RSS save of the site I could look at to determine how you have things set up? PM me details if you want.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, that would be great if you could take a look as I hadn't touched the settings in many years and had trouble remembering how and why I had the original configuration so there is probably some setting I have overlooked.

Since I posted, I now have it going with 2 O/P links, one to open the gate and one to hold it open so it <almost> works but the 'open' function is meant to hold it for 2 minutes giving you time to walk down the drive however all it does is pulse the open signal for about a second, reflected in the bulb icon on the touchscreen, and the gate immediately closes again.

I'll send a copy of the site over and see if you can find anything amiss.

Cheers,
Gordon.
