I don't believe that I have ever stated that I believe what he says but there are two theories to what he says. One is that he just makes stuff up on the hoof as it were and then changes his stance as the situation develops or that he plans to say what he says to enrage the opposition and to knock them off balance before he takes a much softer stance where he ends up where he wants to be. Either way he works does seem to have quite an effect, though I'm not sure if it is a good effect or a bad effect. Having listened to several interviews with anti Trump demonstrators, I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't want to have a conversation with the majority of them and I would be so bold to say that I would be surprised if you would either.
