HOOVER HNC160 CONDENSER DRYER

Hi, I only just found this site and I am hoping someone can help me out here! The problems I am having is that the dryer is tripping the RCD as soon as you insert the plug (well a short delay before it does trip). I'm thinking it may be the supressor but I can't work out how to get the top cover off the darn thing!!!!!

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance..........

It's all OK now, the top had been glued in by someone or something and was impossible to slide it out. I ended up slicing it in half with a jigsaw and then I managed to get it to move
