Hi
Disaster of a kind halfway through cooking Sunday tea!
The power tripped on the Oven - Hotpoint BU62 Twin Oven, and after tentatively switching the power then the oven back on, everything 'appeared' to be working, but it soon became evident that there wasn't any heat.
Therefore, I am fairly certain that the element 'blew' or whatever the term is.
I have found some sites that sell them, but my question is, is it serviceable myself. I've seen these elements on other ovens and they look as if they just slot in.
This one I think is behind a panel with the fan, so my question is, does anyone know if I change it from within the oven, or from behind?
Anything likely to trip me up?

Thanks for any advice
Neil.

Hi Neil,
Remove deflector plate 4 screws top & bottom, remove top screw holding element, gently pull element towards you, making sure the wires do not come off the terminals, then fit your new element, good luck.
