Breezer I hope your out there.

My BWM 12 is leaking when it rinsing the clothes, I know this because the water, on the floor, doesn't have soap in it.

My question is why when its rinsing and where is it coming from.

The ruddy thing keeps getting money and hair bands caught in the pump filter (must get my hair cut short  ) it stops the whole machine from working, but I've got the bailing out down to about 20mins start to finish.

This new problem is a sod any help gratefully received (Breezer :!: )

other opinions are also available

what is a BWM 12?

I will assume its a washing m/c.

seen this a few times

when its rinse time it uses more water, when it's time to pump out, it does. However, if you stand pipe is partialy blocked the water can not get away quick enough and overflows, running back under your m/c

pull the m/c out and do a wash, when its rinse time watch the stand pipe.

once went to a call for exact same thing, bloke said standpipe is clear, i pulled it off (it was a push fit) held it to the light and looked through it (like a telescope) gave it back and said goodbye as i left, there for all to see was a partial blockage in the pipe.

one other thing, a slight split in the front plate (not really diy)

one other thing to look for, split, tear hole in the door seal towards the top

once had a leaking m/c outer sub had big hole caused by a table knife i found when i changed the tub

moral, always check the pockets before a wash, and yes i too didnt ONCE, ever seen a mobile phone in w/m?

Hi Breezer

Thanks for the help, I called the engineer out when the machine was new to a blocked stand pipe, 2 mins later all done and a soggy plastic bag in hand

My girlfriend has washed her mobile, it still works!!, we have a constant arguement about checking pockets etc. I ALWAYS check she never does......

I think that the soap draw was overflowing as there was a lot of water on the front of the machine, I have cleaned it out and done a rinse cycle with no new water on the floor. :)

I will try a wash tonight and see what is on the floo rin the morning...... thanks again for the help
