The machine starts the cycle as normal and stops just before the spin cycle. The machine is still making a noise as if it should be working but no movement and just sits with water in drum. If we turn the dial to a spin cycle, nothing.

We have been told that the filter needs emptying, but cant find a filter - help anyone please?

Does the inner drum turn during the earlier part of the wash?

If it doesn't check to see if belt has come off. Switch off machine before checking!
