Hey, can anyone help?
I have a wf541, which isn't draining. Last week it wasn't draining and some lights were flashing indicating that the machine could not drain. So I pulled all the drainage hoses apart and checked the filter stopper thing. All seemed fine, from the drum to under the sink the water was flowing freely.
So I thought maybe it was the pump? I ordered a new pump, which cam today, replaced it and tried the machine. Its going into all the cycles now, and the warning lights are not flashing, but its filling up with water which it just won't drain... no warning lights are flashing and after a bit the door unlocks so that I can open it????
Any ideas anyone?

put it on pump out and does it make a humming noise from the pump.if so pump is ok and you have a blocked sump .

No doesn't make a noise at all. All you can hear is some switches making noises, might be the water level valve thing that makes the noise?
If I put it on pump out, lights go on, then machine makes a few noises (think its the water level thing, sounds like a click), then the light goes out after a minute, then a minute later the door lock light goes out.

No noise from the pump itself though?

check that the 2 wires from the pump are connected to the pcb ,if they are its blown a triac on the pcb ,easy way to check a pump is put a continuity tester on the 2 pump connections if it bleeps pump is ok .

2 wires are connected ,if you have power 240 volts to pump then you have a blocked sump big rubber cup looking remove and clean it .

is the sump the big rubber black tube type thing with the ball in it? If it is I've already cleaned that, if its not... I don't know what the sump is :?
I don't know what the power to the pump is, the thing I used didn't give an output, it just gave a reading if the pump had power or not.

def 2 wires connected at both the pump and the other end.

Can you tell I'm not very good at this.

black rubber is the sump thats done right .can you get hold of a meter to find what volts are to pump .is this a new pump you put on or second hand , does it bleep when you put a continuity tester across the 2 terminals on the pump .if you put water into the drum does it run out of the waste pipe into a bucket ok .

Water runs through from the drum and out the waste pipe no problem at all.
I used a small digital thing to test shows a picture of a lighting bolt to demonstrate that there is electricity there.
Don't know if i know of anyone with a meter but I'll have a look around.
Could the pump not be getting enough power, if it is not getting enough how would I fix that?
Oh, it was a new pump for the supplier. Not second hand.
Is it the main board thingy?

looks like main pcb if no power from pcb to pump .

Can I get a new one or something over the net?

Thanks for all the help, very much appreciated.

hi it may be a bit late but I also had the same problem and all i had to do was remove the pump filter at the front at the bottom and clean to the left of the hole and then the water drained - the kids had left money in their pockets and it had clogged up the filter and stopped the water from draining
