:( {please can someone help me :( My plumber has let me down for the second time so like the mad cow I am I decided to install my bathroom suite myself which included changing all the plumbing. I did use pushfit and all I can say is respect to all you reliable plumbers because its hard work. Anyway I think I've done it of a sort except that now I can't get my vaillant ecotec condenser boiler to work it keeps coming up with fault F22 and I don't know how to get water into it. where is the inlet valve. Please can someone help me?

If you look at the manual it will tell you how to repressurise it.

Basically one ( or perhaps two if the other is closed ) screwdriver slots underneath.

If you totally fail then Gas4You on this site lives in Norfolk and if he has a little time free from his new job managing CPD training for the Association then he would be able to give you a callout.

Under your boiler you will see 2 grey plastic knobs that say closed on them.

Turn either one 90D (they only turn one way) then the other. You will then hear the water filling the system. Watch the pressure gauge whilst doing this and when it gets to about 10 O'clock position turn off both knobs back to closed.

Switch off boiler on the front, then whilst holding down the '+' button turn boiler back on and keep holding in the '+' button until P0 appears. When it does release the '+' button and then press it once again.

Boiler will self purge, then you can use it as normal. When finished press the '-' button and display should read approx 1.2 Bar cold.

This all assumes that you have turned the cold maons back on after completing your bathroom renovation
