How do they find out who owns the land ?

Talking to a developer .......

I just wondered if this company had another source that I was unaware of ....but no it was the land registry.

When this chap finds out who owns the land a lot of times its banks and other institutions .....they don't even know they own it !!!

Not uncommon, but Land registry doesn't have all the owners, as only about 80% is registered. A lot of time, someone has to start knocking on doors, and just asking questions.

Put a caravan, a transit, and a few calor bottles thrown about on it, and your soon find who owns it.
