How do you lay vinyl near a cooker ?

On Monday we are getting plywood and cushion flooring laid in the kitchen.

We have an electric cooker hard-wired in, so what is the best way to lay the flooring next to it please ?

I couldn't lift it, even if I wanted to as I was thinking of putting a large block of wood below it, so the flooring could be laid up close.

It’s a pain but as long as 2 people there it can be lifted over and done behind. We ply up to it then fit vinyl up to it and foll uk before the cooker. Then lift over
