how do you open boot manually on cmax 04

how do you open the boot maually on ford focus c-max 1.6 cdti ghia model. Cant seem to open it without the button on the key?? Is there a switch or a hidden key or something im missing?

From memory, on my parents CMax there was a rubber gaiter thing stretching between the number plate lights under the boot handle. Push the middle of this and there was a concealed switch in there.

i found the switch but it dont seem to work any ideas folks lol the boot opens only via the button on the key lol

It will probably be full of water and corroded, require a new switch. Well know problem at Ford dealers.
