Hi, i'm trying to remove a plastic end stop from a pipe and it won't budge i think it is a push fit but am not sure. Is there a knack to getting them off.

Looking at the end with the pipe sticking out of it you will see a white plastic ring, this has to be compressed, I find this easiest using an adjustible spanner set to go over the pipe you can the push it against the end stop, an compress, at the same time pull the fitting and spanner away from the pipe, it should pull free

Definitely speedfit.

Put an adjustable spanner over the pipe and tap it off with a sliding motion.

Take the pressure off first or it'll come off like a bullet.

Easiest way to do this:
Let the pressure out of the pipe, doesn't matter where as long as it is the same pipe e.g. hot water, you open any hot tap

Push firmly with the palm of your hand on the top of the stop
Whilst you keep the pressure on, pull the ring toward you
Pull cap off
