Just had a quote for replastering our kitchen extension which also requires some building out to even the walls in the two rooms.

the kitchen is 2mx6m and includes the ceiling

at £550 with materials i nearly chocked and i have seen his work before

how good does this sound

Sounds about right to me. We just extended our kitchen, the room is now 3m x 6m. Got charged £450, I got the materials myself which came to around £150 if I remeber right. The plaster had to board one side of the room and skim the whole lot, took him just under two days and did a cracking job.

Depends how much work he has to do with prep work leveling it out, bonding it out or is he plasterboarding?
