How good are LG Washer Dryer Combos?

All my life my family has purchased Whirlpool, and Maytag laundry appliances... however there are so many new manufacturers in the market offering great technologies and prices.

So how good are LG Washers and Dryers? Do they require maintenance often?

What are your favorite brands for laundry appliances?

It's a combo, so no more changing loads to dry my clothes, and one less appliance to own.

Bit of a different market place over here, but even the best condensing washers/dryers are a pain and nowhere near as good as the average tumble dryer.
Have you considered Miele products? The top bill in UK.

hmmm was not aware Miele made laundry appliances, do know they make some real good stoves and ovens.
