How much carpet to order?

Hi,

I am looking at sourcing some carpet online and getting an independent fitter. Could someone help me and advise how much carpet I should be ordering? (I've attached the floor plan, there are 12 steps that need to be carpeted).

The carpet I want buy is in 4m or 5m widths, do I need 5m x 7m?

It may be worth contacting an independent fitter, who can supply. You could get a better price & also let him be responsible for the measuring.
We did in previous house, he had all the sample books etc.

Im getting a good price already but i need to put the order in today otherwise I lose the offer, hence I dont really have the time to call around or get someone to come in to look.
