Asking for a friend! My daughter had a Fiat Punto (the "Grande Punto") on which this unit failed. Cost me £230 for a reconditioned one (in which I think the only thing that actually fails is the torque sensor) and half a day's work.
I've a feeling the Corsa D is basically the same as that Punto, with an electric power steering unit built into the steering column. A mate of mine (who lives too far away for me to take a look at it) has had trouble with his (no assistance on one lock) and he's wanting to know roughly what he's likely to get stung for (parts and labour). Does anyone know, please?
